Grand Arcade Wigan

A large amount of George Formby fans gathered for the unveiling of the statue. President of the George Formby society, Gerry Mawdsley, hosted the ceremony. Amanda Barton (sculptor) also made an apperance along with a George Formby look-alike Paul Casper. Formby family relations Geraldine Smith and 11 yr old Fancesca Davis came along to witness the occasion.
